Both agreeded to get a costume together after knowing that neither of them had one. Dishonor, not having a costume ready for Halloween, they should feel ashamed… but that won’t happen any time soon. Hopefully there were shops for poor unfortunate souls, like them, open until late hours and with spare costumes… for free!
Kaoru was distracted in her search for the perfect costume between all the used ones. She’d been thinking in being a pirate this year, she’s never been one for Halloween so this was the perfect opportunity. But it wasn’t until Mitch spoke the second time that Kaoru finally heard him and turned around. What she saw was to tempting to not laugh, but for her friend’s sake she hold herself.
“You would be a beautiful bride~” She smiled and pinched his cheek. “And, you’re asking me to be the man in the relationship? I thought that was already clear, darling.” She joked, keeping the playful smile on her face.
Mitch had to put his hand on his hip when Kaoru joked at him, knowing that the pinch to his face would leave a soft pink mark. Kaoru was much stronger than she looked after all. Giving her a playful wink and a nudge to the ribs, the freckled brunet took a step back, doing an over the top twirl in the gaudy white garment.
“ You’re just mad about me looking better in a dress than you, “ He came back with, doing some kind of ugly vogue poses with his hands.
Truth be told though, it did kind of look good on him…
“ Whatever, ” he laughed, nodding over to the rack of clothes that his friend had been searching through before. “ You find anything good yet? “

¤ - It’s the day before Halloween and out muses are trying on different costumes.
Mitch had no idea how long he had been changing in and out of the bargain bin clothes at his local second hand store. He just needed something, anything to wear for Halloween! Bits and pieces were being found and collected, but there wasn’t much he could really do with the scary pieces he had found, unless he decided to be a sword weilding gorilla in half of a power rangers outfit. Last minute costume planning wasn’t as easy as the movies made it seem…
“ Okay, I thiiink I’ve got something good here! If you laugh I swear to god I’ll leave right now! “
No, he wouldn’t. Kaoru probably looked as ridiculous as he did. (maybe?) Emerging from the changing room with a very neglected wedding dress on over his own clothing.
